Shortage of Organic Food



The farmers market has probably remained the only source where really good food can be bought. Instead of being chemically enhanced or lacking in flavor, the fruit and vegetables from the farmer's market is always fresh and home grown in good conditions. Other produce, like milk, eggs, cheese and meat are usually better at the farmers market as well, as opposed to supermarket products.

Along with the advancements in chemistry and science and due to the high demand of food in the worldwide market, we now have to grow our food faster in order to be able to ship it for mass consumption. This is the case everywhere in the world and because of a continually growing population, we are obligated to think of ways in which to make food grow faster.

This has led to a market of chemically enhanced produce and an increase in the lack of organic food. This is a real problem in the entire world as we cannot get the same nutrients and vitamins from over processed and chemically infused food, especially that grown in awful conditions.

It's not to say that the chemical advancements haven't been beneficial to the entire world. If there is a shortage of food, medium quality will do over no nourishment at all.
